Hi, I’m Alley! I am a clinical mental health counselor who is deeply passionate about helping others build their resilience, engage in self-exploration, and find healing. I provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental space for individual, couples, and family therapy.

My work focuses on a variety of issues including: eating disorders, body dysmorphia, trauma, anxiety, depression, fear/phobias, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder, mood disorders, addiction, substance use, personality disorders, ADHD, defiant behaviors, difficult life transitions, and relationship troubles.

I believe that at the core of a productive therapeutic relationship is compassion, support, and honesty. I work to provide a safe space to explore your lived experiences and emotions, while helping to challenge unhealthy or unhelpful thoughts and behaviors to help promote change. I utilize a mainly person centered, trauma-informed approach with the integration of evidence based practices such as CBT, DBT, RO-DBT, ACT, and exposure therapy.

Additionally, I believe it is vital to view my clients holistically, taking into account a variety of personal factors, systemic influences, and lived experiences. Together we will work to identify goals tailored to your needs, learn practical tools to help you find relief from whatever you feel may be holding you back, and foster resilience in who you are.

  • I work with individuals navigating eating disorders and disordered eating patterns with deep compassion. I understand that struggles with food and body image are often connected to identity, control, trauma, and emotional pain. Through a person-centered and trauma-informed lens, I help you explore underlying patterns, challenge rigid thoughts, and build a more peaceful, sustainable relationship with food and your body.

  • I provide a safe, grounded space for processing trauma, including PTSD and complex trauma. I recognize how past experiences can shape your current emotions, relationships, and coping strategies. Using trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and exposure therapy, I support you in gently exploring your experiences, reducing distressing symptoms, and rebuilding a sense of safety and empowerment.

  • I work with individuals facing challenges related to substance use and addiction from a non-judgmental, collaborative stance. I understand that substance use often serves a purpose—whether it’s coping, numbing, or surviving.

Together, we explore underlying emotional patterns, strengthen healthier coping skills, and work toward meaningful, values-driven change.

  • I support individuals navigating personality-related patterns with honesty, structure, and compassion. By integrating DBT and other evidence-based practices, I help you build emotional regulation skills, improve relationships, and deepen self-understanding. My approach focuses on validating your lived experiences while gently challenging patterns that may no longer serve your growth.

  • I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and other mood-related concerns in a way that feels supportive and practical. I help you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building tools to manage overwhelming feelings. Through a collaborative and strengths-based approach, I support you in moving toward stability, clarity, and renewed hope.

  • I help clients unpack the emotional and societal influences that shape body image concerns and body dysmorphia. I take a holistic approach, recognizing the impact of culture, trauma, and personal history on how we see ourselves. Together, we’ll challenge unhelpful beliefs, reduce shame, and cultivate a more balanced relationship with your body.
