“What is to give light must endure burning.”
- Viktor E. Frankl
Jessica Proulx, MS, RMFTI
she/her/hers
Jessica provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore even their most difficult experiences. She believes that each person is already doing the best they can with the resources they have, and she views her role as walking alongside clients as they navigate challenges and move toward a more grounded, centered way of living. She welcomes clients exactly as they are.
Her primary focus is helping couples—particularly those with a history of trauma—strengthen and thrive in their relationships. She also works with individuals experiencing addiction, including process addictions, as well as anxiety, depression, and both simple and complex trauma. In addition, Jessica brings years of experience supporting first responders and their families.

I specialize in helping couples rebuild trust, safety, and intimacy—especially when there’s been trauma, loss, or emotional distance. Together, we’ll untangle patterns that keep you disconnected and learn new ways of communicating that honor both of your nervous systems and needs.
-
As someone living with chronic illness myself, I know how isolating and exhausting it can be to navigate a body that doesn’t always cooperate. Our work will focus on acceptance, self-compassion, and building a life that honors your body’s needs while nurturing your emotional well-being.
-
When daily life feels heavy or unpredictable, I help clients learn to regulate their nervous system, understand emotional patterns, and reconnect with a sense of steadiness and self-trust. Together, we’ll make room for hope, even when things feel stuck.
-
Addiction doesn’t define you—it’s often a sign of pain that hasn’t yet had room to heal. I work with individuals and couples impacted by substance or process addictions, helping you understand the deeper roots, rebuild connection, and move toward recovery grounded in compassion, not shame.
-
Whether you’ve experienced a single painful event or a lifetime of complex trauma, you don’t have to face it alone. My approach creates space for your story to unfold at your pace, while we gently reconnect mind and body in ways that foster safety and healing.
-
Those who spend their lives caring for others often carry unseen emotional weight. I work with first responders, medical professionals, and caregivers to process the toll of their work, strengthen boundaries, and rediscover balance without losing the sense of purpose that drives them.
