Hi! My name is TJ Tracy, and I’m the Care Coordinator at The Willow Collective. As a Care Coordinator, I am responsible for reaching out to clients and making sure they feel safe and heard leading up to and throughout the intake process.

What matters most to me in making this space feel welcoming:

“I want to be able to give people a safe space to be authentically themselves. Deciding to come to therapy and going through intake is half the battle, so I want to ensure that you’re comfortable as we navigate through the process. If I can walk alongside you and ease the anxiety of starting therapy, I consider my job well done.”

my path here

“As a queer, neurodivergent, transgender man, I know how lonely it can be to feel othered and that you don’t quite fit in.”

I chose to join The Willow Collective as a care coordinator because it’s an incredibly welcoming space and community of therapists who embrace authenticity. I came to the collective looking for a place that would help me spread my wings as I discover who I am professionally and found that, there, I could become a good therapist and a better person. Being able to be my authentic self has always been a priority at work, and I’ve never felt more comfortable than when I’m here.

My goal in working at The Willow Collective is to continue living in that authenticity and walk alongside you through your counseling journey so that you know you have a friend, however you show up.

Something small that brings me joy:

Knitting (I love working with my hands!) or tinkering with iPods.

When I’m not at the Willow, I love to:

Go thrifting and shopping at local stores in the community. I also write romance!

goals and interests

I recently graduated from UCF with my Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology, and am in the process of completing my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. In the future I hope to work with LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse clients!

Before I’m licensed, I will be working on a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist certification so that I can better assist people in other areas of life as well.
